Coaches, managers, and player support wanted
COACHING SUPPORT AND PLAYER SUPPORT FOR NEW MEMBERSHIP AND COMPETITION
TNA is seeking applications for coaching support and development, umpiring and player support for new membership groups and competitions.
This is an exciting new series of events for each new area, and TNA wants you!
The areas which require support are;
TNA Participation Netball Competition – This is an exciting new competition for people with disability, and promises to be a wonderful new era for TNA and Netball in the ACT. We need coaches, assistants (management advice) for new teams, and players who can assist some players (minimum age 13) with participating in the great game of netball. Training will be provided for all, however coaching experience will be required for those in the coaching role.
Indigenous participation – with the success of the ACT indigenous Netball Competition, TNA’s membership is growing, and we will be working with community groups to introduce a whole new group of children to our wonderful sport of netball, and grow our competition.
New Schools; We have invited a new school in the area to join TNA, and we are looking for people with coaching experience to assist in the development of coaching ability within the school. This will entail supporting a school with the development of all skills required to play netball, while also developing the coaching ability within the school to ensure it is self-sustaining.
Coaching will commence in the middle – end of February, and it is expected that support for the teams will be undertaken through the year.
For some roles there will be NDIS funding, while other positions will receive an honorarium to support your participation.
Initial round of applications close 7 February, with ongoing application rounds after that date.
All roles will require a Working With Vulnerable People card (if over 15).
